Travis Sanheim update:

Ridiculous.

Hextall knows it at least. He had him on the team for 3 months. I have no doubts he would be in the lineup if he were coaching

Sanheim could be playing in the Nhl but had some flaws they wanted him to work on at the ahl level. Glad to see he got his confidence back and is scoring but that was never his problem. I have only seen 1 phantoms game but he still had flaws in his stick positioning and his board battles from a lack of strength.

NAK is an interesting case specifically because he could help the bottom 6 and the pk. I would love to see him over Weise but problem is when simmer comes back I prefer lindblom to stay up than nak.

There are ways around all of the issues with NAK

It's not rocket science. Nobody says manning is a better defenseman than Sanheim (even MJL). But for the role we need Manning is ATM, or, at least he was at the time Sanheim was sent down.

Simple fact is that Sanheim still needs to work on play in his own zone. He needs to get stronger, and his coverage needs to get better.

On a side note, I feel like they did him a disservice by starting him in the NHL when Morin was clearly more ready. Especially to be in the role they seem to need filled.

If Morin remains healthy I think he should be the guy who they call up to replace Manning.

As for Oobie Koobie, it sounds like he may be ready. And we may actually see him as the next injury call up.

About Oobie Koobie, I noticed he leads the team in penalty minutes.

What kind of penalties does he take? Are they the physical grit type or the lazy stick type?

I agree. I think Weal deserves to be in the top 9 with the way he has played lately. I would like to put him on Patrick's line but I like Lindblom's net front presence there with Patrick and Jake.

Me too, but Raffl and Jake are very good together, thats why I had the lines that way.

NAK is a gritty player. He's been hit with a few fighting majors, instigators and one or tow misconduct penalties this year.

He does also have some defensive zone penalties, holding, slashing etc as well.
